What is GridRun?
GridRun is a free single-player memory heist game in your browser. Study a vault, remember hazards and loot, plan a connected route to the exit, then escape with your score or risk another room.
How do I play?
Reveal the room, memorize loot and hazards, then tap adjacent tiles from the entrance to the exit. Tap an earlier route tile to undo. You can also use arrow keys to explore the board and Enter or Space to select a tile. Walls and the exit stay visible, and planning has no timer.
How do scores and shields work?
Each loot pickup and cleared room earns the displayed room value. One shield absorbs one hazard across the expedition; a second hazard ends it and loses the unbanked haul. Escape after any cleared room to record your score. Expeditions contain up to 12 rooms.
Does GridRun need an account?
No. The game is free, English-only, and requires no account or app download. Records stay in this browser on this device. There are no purchases, advertisements, or analytics trackers.
What is the daily vault?
Everyone receives the same room sequence for the same UTC date. You can replay it, and your best escaped daily score is saved locally. Friend challenge links reproduce a room sequence and target score; scores are not verified global rankings.
Can I install GridRun on my phone?
Supported browsers can add GridRun to your home screen using the browser's install or Add to Home Screen option. An internet connection is required to load the game; offline play is not provided.
